To mark the end of what has been a remarkable year of progress for our corporation, Rusneftegaz hosted a gala dinner in Moscow to commemorate our success over the past twelve months with a considerable number of our employees and a plethora of delegates. Not only did this include all the members of our board of directors, but also various senior managers, key staff and a cohort of our stakeholders who have been critical to our growth in recent times. This has included providing crucial guidance and support with the latest versions of our investment plan and research strategy, both of which were published in the first quarter and are considered essential in our mission to expand our business further and faster. Those that attended joined collectively to celebrate the accomplishments of a selection of our personnel who have been noted for their exceptional personal performance in 2025, such as the individuals who have been acclaimed for long service to our company, in addition to a deluge of special commendations for outstanding achievements throughout the year. At the end of the night, our Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Aleksandr Filyurin, issued these remarks:
“I would first like to place on record the thanks the board and I have to each and every one of our staff for their work during the last year. We never fail to be impressed by the amount of effort each of them makes to keep this company going every day. To be honest with you, I have been here for a long time now. In fact, earlier this year was the tenth anniversary since I joined Rusneftegaz. It is amazing to think about how much we have done in the time that I have been here. We have had to overcome a lot of challenges to make this a success. When I first joined this company, we were losing a terrifying amount of money, and everything was old and needed replacing. To be very direct about it, I was unsure how much we were going to be able to do to fix it. I think it is a great indictment on everyone who has worked here over the past ten years that we have been able to turn this around. We would have been unable to make Rusneftegaz the company that it is today without the effort of so many, and we will be forever grateful to them for what they have done here.”
Among those bestowed with the headline awards were Ilya Dmitriev and Roman Tarasov, who were honored as Employee and Young Employee of the Year respectively, with the former recognized for his extraordinary efforts as one of the leading engineers within our organization. In one particularly noteworthy episode, he was critical in designing and creating various temporary components following an incident in the spring where comparable parts were unavailable at that time, ultimately utilizing the many years of knowledge he has accrued with our enterprise. Although the latter is considerably younger and is much less experienced than his more seasoned peer, he undoubtedly played a vital role when we were relocating our headquarters in the autumn, working late into the evening upon occasion to help ensure a seamless transition. It is his level of dedication to his job, which combined with the broader endeavors of our wider workforce, means that Rusneftegaz is set to break further records for our fiscal performance during the past twelve months. It is this sustained rate of continual growth that gives our executive leadership a high degree of confidence for the upcoming financial period, and we hope that this buoyant optimism is shared not only with our personnel, but with everyone that is associated with our firm.
